GLC has completed extensive characterization of nanomaterials through National Institute for Nanotechnology (NINT) and National Research Council for Canada (NRC) where results confirm high quality, high purity and large flake nanomaterials.
NRC has invited GLC to be involved in a collaboration of the National Standardization of Graphene Nanomaterials for Canada. GLC as well has been invited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) to be a member of International SMC Nano –ISO TC 229 and IEC TC 113. This committee’s objectives of ISO/TC229 are as follows:
- Support sustainable and responsible development of nanotechnologies
- Facilitate global trade in nanotechnology-enabled products and systems
- Improve the quality, safety, security, and consumer and environmental protection of nanotechnologies, along with the rational use of natural resources
- Promote good practice in the production, use and disposal of nanomaterials and nano-enabled products
