Graphene Leaders Canada Inc. formally executed a contract with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) to collaborate on a special interest panel to develop and propose the standards to define high quality graphene for Canada.
The NRC has established a panel to evaluate optimal methods of characterization and develop a standardized method for use to compare graphene materials and determine high quality graphene producers and products thereby strengthening the graphene industry in Canada. The project is broken into several phases with the first phase expected to take approximately one year to complete.
“GLC is very pleased to have been recommended by the
National Institute for Nanotechnology (NINT) as producers of high quality and high purity graphene to
participate in the standardization of graphene for Canada. We are very honoured to have been invited to
be a part of this collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) to define criteria to
measure high quality graphene nanomaterials. This panel will set a benchmark and characterization
method to differentiate the quality graphene products and producers in the graphene market”.
